Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering and project cost control in Singapore.

Responsibilities include sourcing quotations, performing quantity take-offs, preparing subcontract documents, and managing cash flow and cost summaries for complex infrastructure and building projects. Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and vendors during the tender stage.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare costing summaries for tender submissions.
• Prepare and finalise subcontract documents, including contractual and technical requirements.
• Prepare procurement and subcontract schedules according to project requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager with subcontract negotiations and award.
• Prepare and monitor project cash flow and cost summaries.
• Prepare payment claims, Variation Order (VO) substantiation and monthly payment certificates.
• Verify invoices against delivery orders and relevant supporting documents.
• Maintain and update material price lists for project costing purposes.
• Prepare monthly contractual and project reports.
• Maintain proper records of Architect Instructions (AI), Variation Orders (VO), approved subcontractors and manpower reports.
• Monitor project costs and ensure proper contractual documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with the project team to evaluate subcontractor performance.
• Support QS and commercial activities for underground utilities, water pipe laying, plumbing, HDB and condominium projects.

• Experience in steel structure works and plumbing systems, including water plumbing, sewerage and sanitary plumbing, is preferred.

• Experience in underground utilities/infrastructure works, particularly water pipe laying, will be advantageous.

• Exposure to HDB and condominium projects will be advantageous.

• Familiar with quantity take-off, tender costing, subcontract administration, payment claims, VO and cost control.

• Good analytical, numerical and negotiation skills.

• Able to manage project costing, contracts and documentation effectively.
