We are hiring a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, subcontractor tender documentation, and overall coordination on an active construction project.
Job Responsibilities:
Execute all aspects of quantity surveying according to professional standards and best practices in accordance with company policy.
Carry out detailed quantity measurements for construction activities ensuring cost efficiency measures.
Source supplier and subcontractor quotations and perform cost analysis for selection.
Review and verify subcontractor claims, progress billings, and variation submissions according to PSSCOC contracts in and the governing Security of Payments Act.
Draft formal correspondence to subcontractors in coordination with contract administration.
Manage internal approval workflows and documentation through the ERP platform.
Maintain tracking systems for subcontractor payments, bonds, and other contractual records.
Work closely with project teams on-site to resolve subcontractor-related matters including disputes.
Support engineering tasks and assist with other technical duties on-site as required.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Min. 3 years relevant QS experience in the construction industry.
Competent in using AutoCAD for 2D and 3D drawings.
Strong drive in cost management efficiencies, provide cost improvement ideas whilst balancing risks management.
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills to manage stakeholders.
Available to work 5 day workweek (8am-6pm) and once a month on a Sat for a full-day.
