Job summary

DONG JIAN CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle take-off quantities and measurement, re-measurements and contract administration for ongoing projects in Singapore.

You will be responsible for budgeting, procurement, evaluating progress claims, and preparing final accounts, while coordinating with clients and project teams to ensure accurate financial management and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering / Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of quantity surveyor experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Take-off quantity of projects and measurement of quantity by reviewing tender drawings and drawings.
• As-Built drawing re-measurement, contract administration, forecast, budgeting, procurement and final accounts.
• Prepare purchase orders to award to subcontractors, evaluate, compare and recommend.
• Prepare and submit progress claims to clients.
• Evaluate and prepare progress payments to subcontractors/suppliers/service providers.
• Prepare final accounts with clients/subcontractors/suppliers/service providers.
• Liaise with client or consultants’ Quantity Surveyors.
• Maintain records and track all variation orders.
• Maintain liaison with project staff, especially Project Manager and Senior Management.
• Any other duties as assigned by Superior.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying /Civil Engineering/Construction Management or its equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of quantity surveyor experience for QS role in Construction Industry.
