Job summary

AMCE GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to support cost control, subcontractor negotiations and contract administration. You will prepare cost comparisons, obtain quotations, measure quantities, and handle variation orders, claims and final accounts.

The role requires 1+ year of QS experience, a Building degree/diploma, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Building or equivalent.
• 1 year+ experience as QS.
• Ability to negotiate contracts and administer contracts including variation orders.
• Independent, meticulous, analytical with problem-solving, proactive, team player, able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison.
• Obtain quotations and liaise with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities and take-offs.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.
• Handle all other QS related tasks.
