Job summary

GREAT RESOURCES M & E CONTRACTOR PTE LTD in Singapore invites a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost comparisons, manage quotations, and oversee sub-contractor payments.

The role requires a degree/diploma in Building, 3+ years in main-contractor environments, and proficiency with cost estimating and project management tools.

You will be meticulous, analytical, and able to work independently to meet tight deadlines in a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent.
• 3+ years as Quantity Surveyor in main-construction companies.
• Familiar with cost estimating software and project management tools.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders.
• Able to work independently, meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse cost comparison.
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off.
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent
• 3 years and above experience as QS in main-con companies
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in quantity surveying, such as cost estimating software and project management applications.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
