Job summary

MAPLE REALITY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, take-offs, and subcontract administration for construction projects in Singapore. The role involves preparing progress claims and certificates, tracking subcontractor obligations, and assisting in monthly cost reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field with 2–5 years of experience and is prepared to work a 6-day work week, upholding safety and integrity across project teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a quantity surveyor.
• Willing to work 6 days a week.
• Strong focus on safety, integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs and cost control for projects.
• Manage subcontracts and supplier obligations per agreements.
• Prepare monthly progress claims for completed work.
• Prepare progress certificates for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
• Identify and price variations to the contract.
• Maintain variation and extension of time registers.
• Liaise with site engineers to capture variation info.
• Other duties as assigned by the company.

Role & Responsibilty

• Responsible for quantity take-offs and Cost Control functions for project.
• Subcontracts management.
• Preparation of monthly progress claims for work completed.
• Tracking of Subcontractors/ Suppliers obligations required as per agreement.
• Administering variations to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Preparation of progress certificates for subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
• Identification and pricing of variations to the Contract.
• Assist in preparation of monthly commercial report.
• Maintaining registers of variations, extension of time claims.
• Liaising effectively with site engineers and supervisors to ensure all relevant information in relation to variations. and extension of time claims is captured.
• Any other duties as may be required by the Company.

Requirement

• Diploma / Degree
• Minimum 2 to 5 years experience as a quantity surveyor
• Able to work 6 days work week.
