Job summary

NB Development Group in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to verify tender documents, prepare detailed Bills of Quantities, and coordinate subcontractor quotations for accurate cost estimation. You will manage amendments, track progress claims, and support financial planning for timely project delivery.

Ideal candidates have a degree or diploma in Building or Quantity Surveying with at least 3 years’ experience, and can work independently while collaborating with consultants and clients

Responsibilities

• Verify completeness of tender documents and update amendments and corrigenda.
• Identify discrepancies in tender documents and raise queries to resolve issues promptly.
• Perform precise measurements and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities to support accurate cost estimation.
• Coordinate the calling of quotations, pricing, and compilation of PQM and post-tender questionnaires.
• Develop and maintain project budgets and cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and control.
• Solicit subcontractor quotations, prepare cost comparison reports, negotiate terms, and recommend awards.
• Draft and manage subcontract agreements to formalize contractual obligations.
• Liaise with consultants and clients to review monthly progress claims and monitor payments against cash flow projections.
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and certify payments to maintain accurate financial records.
• Track and submit variation orders, collaborating with consultants for assessment.
• Negotiate with consultants and clients to finalize accounts, ensuring accurate and timely project closure.
• Execute any ad-hoc duties assigned by the Contract Manager and management to support project objectives.
