Job summary

Pyrotech Pte Ltd in Singapore invites a Diploma or Degree holder in Quantity Surveying to join our project team. You will study drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare cost estimates, supporting bid submissions and tender reviews.

The role involves liaising with clients and subcontractors, reviewing tenders, preparing progressive claims, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. We offer a supportive environment, 5-day work week, and attractive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Management.
• 1-2 years QS experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Study and review drawings, perform quantity take-off and cost estimation.
• Request for quotation from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors.
• Check and analyze tenders.
• Prepare progressive claims.
• Maintain project files, drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Record variations and certified claims; verify subcontractor claims.
• Arrange insurance for projects such as performance bonds.
• Handle ad hoc tasks.

Job description

• Study & review drawings, take off quantity, cost estimation and request for quotation
• Responsible for quantity surveying and cost estimating
• Liaising with clients& subcontractors
• Checking and analyzing of tenders
• Preparing progressive claims
• Ensure that project files, drawings, specification and bidding contracts are maintained
• Update and record variation or omission order issued of each project, record certified claims
• Verify sub-contractor’s claims for approval
• Prepare and purchase insurance for project such as Performance Bond
• Any other ad hoc works.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/ Building Management or equivalent
• At least 1-2 years of QS experience
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Words and Office
• Good in handling paper work and able to work under stress and fast paced environment
• Good problem solving skill and able to address potential issues proactively
• Good in communication skill (verbal& written) and interpersonal skill
