CHINA STATE CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING CORPORATION LIMITED SINGAPORE BRANCH is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare cost comparisons, obtain quotations, and manage sub-contractor payments. You will measure quantities, take-offs, and prepare variations, claims, final accounts and settlements with a focus on accurate cost reporting.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying and at least 3 years of experience in main-construction companies, with familiarity in cost

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 3+ years as QS in main-construction companies.
• Familiar with cost estimating software and project management tools.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, administration & variation orders.
• Independent, meticulous, analytical, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.

Responsabilidades

Job Scope

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison
• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off
• Prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments
• Strong understanding of construction and engineering principles.
• Proficiency in cost estimation and quantity take off techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and procurement processes.
• Analytical skills to evaluate and manage project costs effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost calculations and reporting.

Requirement

• Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or its equivalent
• 3 years and above experience as QS in main-con companies
• Familiarity with relevant software and tools used in quantity surveying, such as cost estimating software and project management applications.
• Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & variation orders
• Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines
• Preferably with working experiences in infrastructure, large scale project.
