Job summary

WOCH STUDIO PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor with 2–3 years in the local construction industry to manage cost budgets, tendering, and variation claims.

You will prepare budgets, source contractors, handle claims, prepare tender documents, perform take-offs, and support project administration under ISO quality controls. ACAD knowledge is preferred; local residents or PRs are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Building Services, Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• Min 2–3 years’ experience in the local construction industry.
• Independent and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiar with tender evaluation, preparation of tender and quotation.
• Good analytical skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• ACAD knowledge is preferred.
• Local or permanent residents (PRs) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost budgets and track design/construction changes against budget projections.
• Source for contractors/sub-contractors for quotations and price comparisons.
• Handle claim submissions and monthly cost value reports.
• Prepare tender and contract documents including bills of quantities with architects/clients.
• Carry out quantity take-offs for tendering of projects.
• Project administration including interim valuations, pricing, and contract variations.
• Measure work progress for contractual claims and evaluate variation impacts.
• Advise Project Manager on cost impact of project variations.
• Assist in settlement of final accounts with clients, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Support ISO Quality Management System with ad-hoc duties.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Preparing cost budget, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly
• Source for contractors / sub-contractors for a quotation and price comparisons
• Handle claim submission, follow-ups, the monthly cost value reports
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with architects and clients.
• Carry out quantity take-off for tendering of projects
• Project administration and documentation include the preparation of interim valuations, pricing, and agreement of contract variations
• Measure and determine the amount of work done at stages in order to evaluate progress and contractual claims by sub-contractors
• Review and advise the Project Manager on the cost impact for variation of project specification
• Assist in the settlement of final accounts with client, suppliers, and sub-contractors
• Carry out miscellaneous tasks required as part of ISO Quality Management System
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement
