Job summary

ADECOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking a cost management professional responsible for construction costs, quotations, and procurement administration.

You will source cost estimates for projects and prepare high-accuracy tenders to support project directors in budgeting, cash flow and final accounts. You will take Bills of Quantity, obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, coordinate document submissions, and monitor costs to ensure compliance with contract law and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction cost estimation and tender preparation.
• Experience in budgeting, procurement administration and cash-flow management.
• Ability to prepare high-accuracy quotations and tenders.
• Familiar with Bills of Quantities and cost documentation.

Responsibilities

• Handle claims, variation orders and cost control.
• Assist Project Director in tender preparation and submission.
• Take Bills of Quantities.

Job description

He/she is responsible for the construction costs and contracts. He/she is needed to source for all the cost estimated for the construction projects and prepares high accuracy quotations and tenders for projects. He/she assists project directors / managers in the procurement administration of the project and manage project budgeting, controlling of cash flow and cost, processing of claims, contract payment and settlement of final accounts as well as maintaining proper documentation.

• Responsible for claims, variation orders & cost control and settlement of final account
• Assist Project Director in preparation and submission of Tender.
• Taking of Bills of Quantity
• Request of quotation from Supplier and Sub-Contractor
• Checking of Tender document and Understanding of Specification
• Co-ordinate submission of documents to clients and relevant authorities
• Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
• Assess the degree of hazards and risks to ensure workplace safety is maintained.
• Communicate with the management, contractors, and sub-contractors on the adjustments to cost estimates to facilitate smooth transition of information.
• Conduct the negotiations during the project to ensure issues are resolved.
• Control project scope to meet project objectives to enhance project deliverables and key work activities.
• Monitor project costs to ensure the objectives of the project are achieved in accordance to building contract law.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with standards.
• Prepare cost analysis and form cost reduction strategies to ensure the overall value is enhanced for the project.
