Job summary

Hwa Seng Builder Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tender submissions, and project accounting. You will source and negotiate with suppliers, prepare monthly progress claims, and ensure accurate final accounts for clients and subcontractors. A diploma/degree in Building or QS and 1–2 years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering.
• 1–2 years of relevant construction experience.
• Senior Quantity Surveyor for substantial experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Take-off and cost estimation of tenders/projects.
• Prepare tender submissions.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with specialists, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and follow up monthly progress claims.
• Finalize project accounts with clients and subcontractors.
• Any other tasks as assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Minimum diploma or degree holder in Building / Quantity Surveying / Civil / Structural Engineering
• 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in Construction sector
• Candidates with substantial years of experience will be considered for the position of Senior Quantity Surveyor
• Good knowledge of construction sequences and material trends
• Independent with excellent problem solving skills, detailed and a good team player
• Salary package commensurate with experience
