Job summary

Yuan Mei Chen (S) PTE. LTD. in Singapore invites a Quantity Surveyor to lead tendering activities, conduct cost analyses from architectural drawings and materials, and obtain sub-contractor quotations for diversified trades.

You will prepare tender submissions, discuss with management for final submission, monitor project progress, liaise with vendors, and manage variations, interim payments and final accounts while ensuring budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Minimum 2-years of work experiences in the renovation / construction industry
• Good in PSSCOC and SIA is an advantage
• Professional knowledge in Quantity Surveying administration, Security of Payments Acts and Construction’s practices and regulations
• Good communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Attend tender opportunities and site briefings prior to tender submission
• Prepare cost analyses based on architectural drawings and materials required
• Obtain sub-contractor quotations for various trades
• Prepare tender submissions, including bills of quantities and discuss with Management for final submission
• Prepare for final submission and follow up with Tender Questionnaire reply and Interview
• Monitor progress and liaise with vendors
• Control all stages of projects within predetermined budget and expenditure, submission for progress claim, quotation and VO submission
• Attend site meetings for ongoing projects
• Monitor and keep track of project progress and measure/valuate variations in the work during the contract for interim payments and final accounts
• Work as part of a team to ensure client requirements are delivered

Requirements

Degree in Quantity Surveying
