Job summary

Madd Projects in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle tender submissions, cost breakdowns, and value-for-money procurement across tiles, furnishing and lighting trades.

You will work with the project team to issue Purchase Orders, track variations, and settle final accounts, ensuring tight schedules are met and all costs are controlled. Experience reading layouts and plans is preferred, and proficiency in MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to communicate with all levels.
• PC literate and proficient in MS Office.
• Experience in tiles, furnishing and lighting trade.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tender submissions including taking off quantities and sourcing for quotations from suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Sourcing, negotiation and evaluation of quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Quantity take-off and cost breakdown for Pre and Post contract.
• Preparation and follow-up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account.
• Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders.
• Liaise with project team for material ordering, issuing of Purchase Orders to suppliers and cost control.
• Work closely with teammates.
• Perform, any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Quantity take-off and cost breakdown for Pre and Post contract.
• Preparation and following up on progress claims, progress certification, variation orders and settlement of final account with main contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain records, tracking and submission of all variation orders.
• Liaise with project team for material ordering, issuing of Purchase Orders to suppliers and cost control.
• Work closely with teammates.
• Perform, any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
