Job summary

Catig Construction in Singapore seeks a procurement/quantity surveying support to liaise with the construction team, prepare RFQ/open tender documents, and assist in subcontractor procurement. You will help ensure accurate quantity measurements for progress payments, variation orders, and final accounts, maintain site event records, support contracts team, and participate in technical meetings.

• Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender
• Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in the preparation of progress payment claims, variation order claims and payments to subcontractors and suppliers including all final accounts;
• Assist in maintaining good documentation of events at site for variation order / EOT claims;
• Assist in the procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers of specified materials;
• Attend technical meetings to keep abreast of design development issues and provide cost escalation alerts;
• Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
• Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts
