Job summary

LKT Contractors is seeking a proactive candidate to support tendering and subcontract activities on construction projects in Singapore. You will assist in RFQ preparation, quantify resources for payments, and help maintain comprehensive site documentation for variation orders and final accounts.

The role involves coordinating with the construction team, sourcing subcontractors, and participating in technical meetings to track design changes and cost implications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting RFQ/tender processes for construction projects.
• Ability to measure quantities to assist in progress payment claims and final accounts.
• Maintain thorough documentation of events at site for VO/EOT claims.
• Assist in procurement of sub-contractors and specified materials.
• Attend technical meetings to monitor design changes and cost escalations.
• Source potential tenderers and prepare RFQ invitations.
• Coordinate clarifications between tenderers and the construction team during RFQ.

Job description

• Liaise with construction team to prepare document for Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Open Tender
• Ensure accurate measurement of quantities to assist in the preparation of progress payment claims, variation order claims and payments to subcontractors and suppliers including all final accounts;
• Assist in maintaining good documentation of events at site for variation order / EOT claims;
• Assist in the procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers of specified materials;
• Attend technical meetings to keep abreast of design development issues and provide cost escalation alerts;
• Source potential tenderers/subcontractors and send out invitation for RFQs
• Coordinate queries and clarifications between tenderers and construction team during RFQ stage
• Assist contracts team in administration of subcontracts
