Job summary

KIAN BEE ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a cost-focused Tender/Project support to assist the Tender Manager with project tenders and to assist the Project Manager in setting quantities, unit rates, and costs.

The role involves procurement, evaluation, claims, and payments, with data required for cost reporting throughout pre-, during and post-construction stages. The position may require occasional site visits to gather on-site cost information and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.

• Quantity take-off and generation of Schedule of Quantity
• Request for quotation from vendor and preparation of subcontract agreement and / or purchase order
• Handle progress claims and progress payment, VO & finalization of accounts
• Work closely with Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice during pre-construction, construction and post construction stage
• Travel to and visit work site when required
• Assist in the procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers of specified materials
• Assist Project Manager in all contractual and costing matters
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned

Job description

Assist Tender manager with project tender and to assistProject manager to establish the quantity, unit rate, cost. Manage theprocurement, evaluation, claim, payment process and prepare the necessary datafor cost reporting.

1. Quantity take-off and generation of Schedule of Quantity
