Job summary

WOLFDUN CONTRACTORS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a proactive Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost planning and procurement throughout pre-construction, construction and post-construction stages.

You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost data, manage subcontractor procurement, handle claims and progress payments, and liaise with the project team on contractual and financial matters. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Building and at least 2 years

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or Building from a recognized University.
• Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings.
• Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Tender manager with project tender and to assist Project manager to establish the quantity, unit rate, cost.
• Manage the procurement, evaluation, claim, payment process and prepare the necessary data for cost reporting.
• Quantity take-off and generation of Schedule of Quantity.
• Request for quotation from vendor and preparation of subcontract agreement and/or purchase order.
• Handle progress claims and progress payment, VO & finalization of accounts.
• Work closely with the Project Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice.
• As required, travel to and visit work site.
• Assist in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers of specified materials and assist Project Manager in all contractual and costing matters.
