Job summary

GL Engineering & Construction Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a capable professional to manage tender documentation, perform quantity take-offs, and prepare tender submissions. The role involves coordinating with consultants and clients, evaluating pricing, and handling post-tender clarifications.

You will participate in kick-off meetings, hand-overs, and project reviews, and prepare quotations for technical works, materials, and manpower. Prior experience in tendering is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Review tender document and drawing.
• Handle quantity taking-off and prepare tender submission.
• Ensure timely receipt of technical information relevant to tender.
• Prepare standard measurement/quantity.
• Prepare Bar Bending Schedule.
• Source for quotation.
• Evaluate, analyze and input pricing for tender.
• Participate in post-tender clarification.
• Participate in kick-off meeting with consultant/client.
• Participate in hand-over process to project team and project briefing to colleagues.
• Participate in Project Review Meeting for evaluating project process.
• Prepare quotation for various technical works, material, manpower, etc.
• Check and approve sub-contractors' bills.
• Handle variation order and claim for certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned
