Job summary

Propell Integrated Pte Ltd is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to assist the QS/BD Manager in tender costing, prepare Bills of Quantities and cost estimates for interior design projects. The role includes reviewing supplier quotations, ensuring compliance, and updating costing summaries based on technical proposals.

The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor in Quantity Surveying, with experience in M&E or related fields being advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist QS/BD Manager to handle and calculate quantity and costing of tender assignments.
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR) and cost estimates.
• Technical review on supplier/contractor quotations or proposals to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior design (ID) projects, considering materials, labour, equipment and related costs.
• Ensure supplier equipment selection and subcontractor quotes meet tender requirements.
• Review tender documents and raise queries to the client.
• Review tender addenda and post-tender drawings and update costing summary with technical proposals.

Job Descriptions:

• To assist QS/BD Manager to handle and calculate the quantity and costing of the different tender assignments.

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ), Schedule of Rates (SOR) and cost estimates.

• Technical review on the supplier/contractor quotation or proposal and makes sure that all requirements are complied.

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior design (ID) projects, taking into account materials, labour, equipment, and other related costs.

• Ensure all Suppliers equipment selection and Subcontractors quote meets tender requirements.

• Review tender documents and raise any queries to the client.

• Review tender addendum, corrigendum and post tender addendum drawings and documents and update costing summary with technical proposal accordingly.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.

• Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying (M&E works for A&A) and Building Industry or equivalent.

• Min 2 years of relevant experience in M&E services with strong ACMV quantity surveying experience will be highly advantageous.

• Ability to use software tools for costing and budgeting.
