Job summary

ATTIKA INTERIOR +MEP in Singapore is seeking a detail-minded Quantity Surveyor/Estimator with 2–3 years' construction experience to handle tender preparation, cost planning and cost control.

You will take-off quantities, analyze quotations, source sub-contractors, prepare variation orders, and liaise with consultants and authorities throughout project phases. The role requires good written communication and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Possess degree/diploma (Building/ Quantity Surveying) or similar.
• Minimum 2 to 3 years of work experience in Construction industry.
• Good written communication skills.
• Good track record.
• Able to work on multiple projects, within simultaneous timeline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of tender docs and pricing.
• Take-off quantities for Bills of Quantity, cost planning, costing and cost control.
• Analyze and compare quotations from trade elements.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Prepare and submit quotations to clients per projects and rates.
• Source quotations from sub-contractors and material suppliers.
• Assess and prepare variation orders, claims, cost studies, final accounts.
• Review with Project Leader/Manager/MD during pitching and execution.
• Liaise with consultants, sub-contractors, authorities during project phases.
• Perform any other related ad hoc duties.

Job Role:

• Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and pricing
• Perform measurement/taking off quantities for Bills of Quantity, cost planning, costing and cost control
• Analyze and compare quotations of various trade elements
• Attend site meetings when required
• Generation and submission of quotations to clients based on D&B/ A&A projects, schedule of rates and / or Star Rates.
• Sourcing of quotations from sub-contractors and material suppliers.
• Assessment and preparation of contract variation orders, claims, cost studies, final accounts consolidation.
• Review and liaise closely with the Project Leader/Manager/MD throughout the process of pitching to confirmation and execution.
• Liaison with consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities during the entire project phase.
• Any other related ad hoc duties assigned.
