Job summary

PIKASA CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is looking for a diligent Quantity Surveyor in Singapore to support cost control and commercial activities on a range of projects.

You will perform quantity take-offs, prepare Bills of Quantities, assist in tender documentation, and help with budgeting and contracts documentation. The role requires strong numerical ability, proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel, and good negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Construction estimating experience is advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Excel for quantity take-off.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Responsibilities

JOB SCOPE

• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) for projects.
• Assist in preparation of tender documents and procurement processes.
• Support Senior Quantity Surveyor and Contracts Manager in cost submissions, budgeting, and contracts documentation.
• Liaise with colleagues and other departments to obtain necessary information for cost estimation.
• Assist in preparing supplier and subcontractor payment requests.
• Attend site meetings as required.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Quantity Surveyor Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, M&E, or Equivalent
• Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF software for quantity take-off and measurements.
• Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience in contracts management, claims, and cost control.
• Proficiency in relevant software such as Excel, cost estimation software, and project management tools.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines
