Job summary

SINTAL ENTERPRISE PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control, tender preparation and project costing.

The role involves liaising with subcontractors, obtaining quotations, measuring quantities and submitting tender documents. You will attend site meetings, prepare variation orders, monitor deliveries, and oversee payments to subcontractors, ensuring project schedules are met and liabilities properly settled.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze cost comparisons for tender and projects.
• Obtain quotations, liaise with and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Measure quantities, estimate costs, take-offs and submissions for tender and projects.
• Prepare variation orders, claims, final accounts, settlements and subcontractor payments.
• Process material orders and cost control.
• Attend site meetings and submit progress claims.
• Prepare and arrange daily deliveries, liaise with factory/production, issue delivery orders to meet schedules.
• Monitor projects during the defect liability period after completion.
• Monitor factory production, delivery, and worker overtime as needed.

Work scope:

• Prepare and analyze cost comparison for tender andprojects.


• Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate withsub-contractors and suppliers.


• Responsible for measuring quantities, cost estimation,taking off and submission for tender and projects.


• Prepare variation orders, claim, final accounts,settlements and sub-contractor payments.


• Responsible for material order processing and costcontrol.


• To attend site meeting and submit progress claims.


• Prepare and arrange daily delivery, liaise withfactory/production and prepare delivery order and liaise with site/main con fordelivery to meet project schedule.


• Upon completion of each project, to monitor therespective project during the defect liability period.


• Monitor factory production daily activities/Delivery and workers overtime ifnecessary.
