Job summary

JH BUILDERS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to support construction projects. You will perform quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and prepare tender submissions with detailed follow-up on clarifications and interviews.

You will liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, clients and consultants, manage progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts, and attend site meetings to capture variation works. Prior experience in structural steel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferably experience in structural steel projects
• Minimum 2 years relevant working experience
• Able to work independently and under pressure
• Proactive, meticulous and well organized
• Team player with positive learning and working attitude

Responsibilities

• Take-off quantities and cost estimation for projects
• Prepare tender submissions and follow up with clarifications and interviews
• Source quotation, liaise and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare and resolve progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
• Evaluation and certification of subcontractors' progress claims, variation orders
• Attend site meetings to capture variation claims and interim valuations
• Liaise with client and consultants on contractual issues
• Handle other assigned duties or related job as required

• Preparation of tender & quotation submission and follow up with tender clarifications and interview
• Source quotation, liaise and negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Preparation and resolution of progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
• Evaluation and certification of subcontractors' progress claims, variation orders and final account
• Attend site meetings to capture all variation claims, preparation of interim valuations and potential variation works
• Liaise with Client and Consultants on all contractual issues
• Handle other assigned duties or related job as required
