Job summary

FAR EAST GROUP LIMITED in Singapore is seeking a Tender/Quantity Surveyor to assist in cost estimation and tender preparation for construction projects. You will prepare accurate estimates considering materials, labour, and equipment, and perform quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specs.

You will also develop tender cost plans and budgets, prepare BOQ and schedules of rates, and support evaluation and cost comparison with main contractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates considering materials, labour, and equipment
• Perform detailed quantity take-offs and measurements for tender works
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and schedules of rates
• Develop tender cost plans and budgets based on drawings and specifications
• Assist in tender preparation, evaluation, and cost comparison
• Assist in liaising and building strong working relationships with main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Any other ad hoc task as assigned by Manager or Management
