Job summary

KIM HUA CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare documents for tenders, study contract documents, perform measurements, and prepare Bills of Quantities for new projects. You will contribute to accurate tender pricing and project setup.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying, preferably 3 years in Civil Engineering, and strong communication, integrity, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualifications.
• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant working experience in Civil Engineering.
• Reliable with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good technical and contractual knowledge with high integrity and work ethic.
• Independent and effective team player, able to handle multi-projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents and submissions for tendering new projects.
• Study contract documents, perform measurements and prepare Bills of Quantities.
• Assist in contract administration, prepare progress claim(s) and liaise with Client's representative on claims and variation costs.
• Call quotations, compare prices and prepare Bills of Quantities to arrive at tender pricing.
• Review and verify Subcontractor's / Supplier's claims and prepare payment certificates.
• Attend site meetings and progress claim meetings.
• Monitor each project during the defect liability period after completion.

• Call quotations, compare prices and prepare bill of quantities to arrive at the tender pricing;

• To review and verify the Subcontractor's / Supplier's claims and prepare payment certificates

• To attend site meeting and progress claim meeting;

• Upon completion of each project, to monitor the respective project during the defect's liability period;

Requirements:
