Job summary

COMBUILDER PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated Test Planning & Strategy professional to drive testing initiatives across projects in Singapore. This role focuses on shaping test strategies, aligning with stakeholders, and ensuring quality across software releases.

You will perform hands-on testing, contribute to automation efforts, manage defects, and maintain thorough test documentation to support project success and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing comprehensive test strategies and test plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Define test objectives, acceptance criteria and testing priorities based on software requirements and business goals.
• Ensure testing activities are aligned with project timelines and deliverables.
• Perform hands-on manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance and security.
• Conduct regression testing, exploratory testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Review test cases and test scripts to ensure accuracy and adequate test coverage.
• Support and promote test automation best practices.
• Contribute to increasing automation coverage across applications and systems.
• Continuously improve test automation infrastructure to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Establish and maintain effective defect-tracking processes.
• Ensure defects are properly documented, prioritised, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.
• Communicate defects, testing progress and outstanding issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases and test reports.
• Ensure testing documentation remains accurate, up-to-date and accessible to the team.
• Work closely with software developers, product managers and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues and improve overall product quality.
• Provide clear updates on testing progress, results, risks and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
