Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) PTE LTD is seeking a Tester / Quality Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of software products through effective test planning, execution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The role covers test data preparation, test environment management, and executing test cases while supporting System Integration Testing (SIT) and following established testing standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in software testing or quality engineering.
• Experience executing structured test cases and logging defects.
• Basic understanding of SIT processes and system workflows.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage tests to validate functionality, performance, and stability of software applications.
• Identify, document, and report defects to the development team, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and ensure successful System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Perform test data preparation, manage test environments, and execute test cases based on defined scenarios.
• Ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and best practices.
