Job summary

Activate Interactive Singapore is hiring a Software Quality Engineer on a fixed-term contract (1 year) to join the Co-Development Business Unit. You will drive test strategies, implement automated tests, and ensure high-quality software for government-related projects in Singapore.

The role emphasizes functional, API and end-to-end testing, with collaboration across engineering teams and active participation in CI/CD pipelines to enhance software quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing test strategies based on product and technical risk.
• Experience with functional, integration, API and end-to-end testing.
• Strong background in test automation.
• Ability to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Commitment to code quality, testing, validation and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test strategies for MSF projects across diverse systems.
• Collaborate with developers to improve testability and prevent defects earlier in SDLC.
• Execute and automate tests for APIs, services and frontend components.
• Contribute to the establishment of observability and quality gates across deployments.
• Document results and drive quality improvements across teams.
