Job summary

Activate Interactive Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Software Quality Engineer for a 1-year fixed-term contract. You will own testing strategy, automation regression, API testing, UAT support and release QA for the cloud-based digital platform.

The role emphasizes automation first, building robust QA frameworks, integrating tools with CI/CD, and ensuring quality across critical journeys. Collaboration within an Agile team and tight feedback loops are key.

Qualifications

• At least 3-4 years of QA experience with strong hands-on automation testing experience.
• Hands-on experience designing end-to-end QA automation frameworks and integrating tools with CI/CD pipelines and test reporting platforms.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or equivalent.
• Strong API testing experience with Postman, Newman, REST Assured or equivalent.
• Ability to design clear functional, regression, integration and negative test cases.
• Ability to perform basic SQL queries for test data validation.
• Familiarity with running automated tests in CI/CD pipelines and interpreting test reports.
• Experience testing within Agile sprint delivery.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, access control validation, input validation and security regression testing.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the testing strategy, automated regression testing, API testing, functional testing, UAT support and release QA for the cloud-based platform.
• Build and maintain automated regression test suites for critical user journeys.
• Prepare UAT test scenarios and support business users during UAT.
• Conduct regression, smoke testing and release validation before deployment.
