Job summary

STAFFLINK SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED in Singapore seeks a hands-on Mechanical/Materials Engineer for a permanent, full-time role in Serangoon. The position focuses on packing materials for IC products, including supplier coordination and documentation.

You will review packing material designs, propose changes, and maintain supplier/customer documents related to packing and media. The role involves resolving non-conformances with suppliers and onboarding new packing materials.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical/ Materials Science Engineering.
• Experience in SEMICON industry, Assembly and Test, Packing Material is preferred.
• Knowledge in AUTOCAD or any drawing apps, and ability to interpret engineering drawings.

• Work with Packing Material (Tray, Carrier tape) suppliers to design or select suitable carrier for IC products.
• Review packing materials designs and propose changes if required.
• Draft, maintain and update supplier and customer-facing documents related to packing and media.
• Resolve non-conformance issues with supplied materials and follow up with suppliers for completion of corrective actions.
• Support on boarding activities of new suppliers for packing and labelling.
• Support managing 3rd party supplier (for reinspection and re-packing of IC products).

Responsibilities:

• Work with Packing Material (Tray, Carrier tape) suppliers to design or select suitable carrier for IC products.
