Job summary

STAFFKING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead supplier evaluation, audits and qualification to ensure ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance. You will monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions across global teams, using APQP/PPAP and 8D methodologies.

Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields and strong knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D. Location offers office hours and company transport to the North area.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of quality systems and supplier quality management.
• Experience in ISO 9001/IATF 16949 environments preferred.
• Experience with PPAP, APQP and process capability tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier evaluation, auditing, and qualification to ensure ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
• Lead APQP and PPAP activities and support project transfers to contract manufacturers.
• Manage supplier quality issues using 8D and SCAR processes.
• Collaborate with design, supply chain, production, and global teams to meet quality requirements.
• Identify supply chain quality risks and ensure regulatory and customer requirements.
• Apply QC tools (FMEA, SPC, MSA, DOE) for process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier evaluation, auditing, and qualification to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 and company quality standards.

• Monitor supplier performance (DPPM, audit results, 8D response) and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.

• Lead APQP and PPAP activities and support project transfers from internal manufacturing to contract manufacturers, including on-site validation and pilot runs.

• Manage supplier quality issues from IQC, production, and customer feedback using 8D methodology and SCAR processes.

• Collaborate closely with design, supply chain, production, and global teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle.

• Identify supply chain quality risks and ensure compliance with industry and customer-specific requirements.

• Apply quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, DOE, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab/JMP) to support process improvement.

Requirements
