Job summary

Apple South Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced QA Engineer to join the Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) organization. You will help build robust backend testing for enterprise platforms and contribute to high-quality product releases.

The role emphasizes automation, CI/CD, and collaboration with global teams to improve efficiency, reliability, and security across Apple’s systems powering devices and services.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in QA engineering for backend services.
• Proficiency in Java and SQL databases.
• Experience with Selenium, Gauge, Playwright or similar.
• Linux/Unix environments are familiar.
• Scripting in Perl, Python or Bash.
• At least 1 year with Kubernetes, Docker and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Maven, Git, Spinnaker, Jenkins).
• Bug tracking and test/requirements management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional and integration quality-assurance testing for backend services and platforms.
• Innovate and build QE automation tools and platforms with the goal of 100% automation.
• Build functional testing tools and frameworks and enhance existing automation platforms.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop schedules, execute test plans and deliver quality products.
• Advocate for quality in the product development process for software engineering.
• Identify gaps in QE workflows and suggest process improvements.
