Job summary

Apple Singapore is seeking a Software Quality Engineer to contribute to design, analysis and certification of customer support apps. You will ensure functionality, performance, and stability across features, writing and executing test charters, scenarios and plans, and collaborating with product and engineering teams.

You will design automated tests in Python/Java/SWIFT, build robust frameworks, integrate tests into CI/CD, and provide clear defect reproduction and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software quality assurance testing with team lead experience.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining test frameworks using RestAssured or Selenium.
• Proficiency in Java or Python with strong communication skills.
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a passion to ensure quality.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the consistent functionality, performance, and stability of Apple's customer support experience and applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks for functional, performance, and stability testing, leveraging proficiency in languages like Python, Java, or Swift.
• Implement scalable automation strategies, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to drive continuous feedback and enhance overall product quality.
• Identify, meticulously report, and perform first-level root cause analysis for defects, providing clear reproduction steps and collaborating with development teams for resolution.
• Craft informed and robust testing charters, and author comprehensive test scenarios and plans based on new and existing feature implementations.
• Drive quality efforts throughout the development lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering, product management, and test automation teams.
