Technical Capabilities
Quality Engineering / QA
For candidates focusing on QA or Quality Engineering, we are looking for an engineering approach to quality , rather than treating testing only as a final manual validation step.
Relevant experience may include:
- Designing test strategies based on product and technical risk
- Functional, integration, API and end-to-end testing
- Test automation
- Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- API testing and validation
- Testing distributed and integrated systems
- Identifying edge cases and failure scenarios
- Performance, reliability and security-conscious testing
- Defect investigation and root-cause analysis
- Working with developers to improve testability and prevent defects earlier in the SDLC
- Using evidence and metrics to make quality and release recommendations
