Job summary

TIMPCO ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking a QA Software Tester in Singapore to independently manage testing activities and collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams.

We value 2–4 years of hands-on software testing experience, a degree in CS/IT or related field, and strong analytical and communication skills. The role emphasizes test design, automation, and risk-based regression across web, mobile, and API workflows.

Responsibilities

• Work independently while collaborating with Product Managers, engineers, designers, operations teams, and senior QA.
• Take ownership of testing activities, manage priorities, raise blockers early, and complete work within agreed timelines.
• Communicate testing progress, blockers, quality risks, execution results, and release readiness clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Review product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, designs, and technical solutions to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and test-data needs.
• Design, document, maintain, and execute effective test scenarios and test cases across functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end workflows.
• Prepare and maintain test data for different users, configurations, workflow states, and boundary conditions.
• Retest resolved defects and perform risk-based regression testing across affected areas.
• Use approved generative AI tools to support requirement analysis, test design, test documentation, defect reporting, API testing, automation assistance, and QA reporting while validating all generated output independently.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for web, mobile, and API workflows as a core part of the role.
