Job summary

JABIL PROCUREMENT AND SUPPLY CHAIN SERVICES PTE. LTD. seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet customer requirements and to assist with addressing quality concerns, aiming to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes.

The role performs final QC checks, provides training and technical support, conducts internal QMS and ESD audits, documents results in Velocity ERP, and communicates findings to Purchasing and Sales to drive corrective actions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience on electronic components.
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Windows/Office.
• Strong math skills for percentages and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform final QC checks on inspected product to ensure conformance to requirements.
• Document results of final QC checks in Velocity ERP system.
• Communicate inspection findings to Purchasing and Sales teams and advise on actions to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Operations Manager to ensure inspectors perform inspections to standard.
• Conduct inspection skills and technical trainings for quality inspectors.
• Provide technical support to Sales and Purchasing Departments.
• Assist Quality Manager in Customer Corrective Action Request.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.

The Quality Engineer ensures product conforms to our customers' requirements and assists with responding to customer concerns related to product quality in order to deliver exceptional experiences and outcomes.

Area(s) of Responsibility

• Perform final quality control (QC) checks on inspected product to ensure it conforms to our customers' requirements
• Provide training and technical support and assist with responding to customer concerns related to product quality
• Conduct internal QMS and ESD audit

Essential Functions

• Review inspection results and, as needed, perform supplemental inspections on product to determine acceptability of product
• Document results of final QC checks in Velocity's ERP system
• Communicate inspection findings to the Purchasing and Sales teams and advise on the actions necessary to resolve issues (if applicable)
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to ensure Inspectors are performing inspections to standard
• Conduct inspection skills and technical trainings for quality inspectors
• Provide technical support to Sales and Purchasing Departments
• Assist the Quality Manager in Customer Corrective Action Request
• Perform other duties as requested by management
