Job summary

Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Inspection management

1. Responsible for managing inspectors and creating inspection work instructions.

2. Responsible for developing a list of inspection equipment, measuring tools, and MSA for projects.

3. Responsible for reviewing sample inspections at various stages of new projects and submitting customer new product inspection reports and PPAP-related inspection reports.

Process quality management

4. Responsible for organizing and planning product audits and process audits at various stages.

5. Responsible for participating in the early stages of product quality planning, and developing a product quality assurance plan.

6. Responsible for monitoring the first-time quality (FTQ) and process capability of products at various stages of projects and driving continuous improvement, as well as handling quality issues on the production floor.

Custormer quality and improvement

7. Addressing customer quality complaints, tracking and closing 8D or 5-why reports.

8. Responsible for customer return analysis and processing, developing product containment plans, and establishing breakpoint requirements.

9. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the quality system, and driving systematic improvements.

Oualifications

1. Requires at least 3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the wind power or automotive sectors.

2. Familiarity with production process quality management, proficient in using tools such as 8D, 5WHY, and a preference for candidates who are familiar with the five major APQP tools.

3. Possesses strong problem-solving skills, communication skills, and teamwork abilities.

4. ISO9001 or IATF16949 internal auditor certificate.
