Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd in Tuas is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to conduct in-process and final inspections, ensuring products meet quality standards. You will manage inspection records, support root-cause analyses, and collaborate with production and QA teams to resolve issues.

The role requires at least 1 year in QC/QA within printing or manufacturing, attention to detail, and familiarity with QC equipment. Training is provided in a comfortable, air-conditioned environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Secondary / GCE O Level or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in QC, QA, printing or manufacturing will be an advantage.
• Familiar with quality inspection, measuring instruments and QC equipment.
• Good attention to detail with strong visual and colour recognition skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements.
• Perform final inspection, lot approval and product release, including checking shipping requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports, quality records and relevant documentation.
• Identify and investigate production and quality issues and assist in resolving them.
• Conduct in-process quality audits on the production floor.
• Report quality findings and defects to Machine Operators, Supervisors and the Quality team.
• Approve, reject or quarantine non-conforming products according to company procedures.
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues and customer complaints.
• Support the QA Engineer with special projects and quality improvement initiatives.
• Operate and maintain familiarity with QC inspection and measuring equipment.
• Ensure compliance with QMS, workplace safety and quality procedures.
• Recommend improvements to product quality, safety and production processes.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Manager.

Job description

Industry: Custom Label Printing / Manufacturing
Location: Tuas

Salary: $2,100 – $2,500 + $250 Fixed Transport Allowance
Gross Salary: Up to $2,700 – $2,800 with OT

Working Hours

• 5-day work week, Monday to Friday
• Fixed hours: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Morning & afternoon breaks: 10–15 minutes
• Lunch break: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
• Weekday OT: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM when required
• Weekend OT may be required
• Candidates who are unable to work OT can inform the Supervisor in advance
