Job summary

GTM Aluminium Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC professional to coordinate quality matters across metal works and facades. You will conduct inspections to ensure works follow method statements and industry best practices.

You will prepare QA/QC documents, inspection plans, and ITPs, and maintain quality records for ISO audits. Travel to sites is expected to support the project team and testing laboratories.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in metal work and facade construction.
• Strong knowledge of ISO quality standards.
• Familiar with CONQUAS and Green Mark.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality matters with project team and ensure compliance with method statements and industry standards.
• Maintain QA/QC records and assist in ISO audits.
• Prepare QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and QA/QC reports.
• Inspect final outputs against requirements and approve or reject.
• Liaise with testing laboratories for material testing and witnessing.

Job description

• Co-ordinate on quality matters with project team, conduct regular inspection to ensure works are in compliance with method statements & proper sequence of work and in accordance to BCA's good industry practice.

• Ensure that all project quality records and quality audit plans are maintained, assist in yearly ISO audit.

• Prepare Quality Control Plan, procedures and QA/QC reports.

• Inspect the final output, comparing it to the requirements and approving or rejecting the final products.

• Knowledge of welding inspection and ISO standards, familiar with CONQUAS, Green Mark and other essential BCA requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

• Willing to travel to various sites.

• Prepare Inspection Test Plan (ITP).

• Prepare document submission for client's approval.

• Compile and receive relevant material certificates and test report from suppliers.

• Co-ordinate with relevant testing laboratories for material testing and witnessing.

• Assist the project team on QA/QC matters.

• Good understanding of construction industry practices and standards in particular metal works and facade works.

• Degree / Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in metal work and facade industry.
