Job summary

NOVA VITA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a QA/QC professional to plan and implement project-specific QA/QC procedures, ensuring compliance with drawings, codes and regulatory standards.

You will lead inspections, review documentation, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on site. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in construction (steelworks preferred), a degree or diploma in engineering, and welding inspector certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of QA/QC experience in construction, preferably steelworks.
• Knowledge of quality control documentation and procedures.
• Possession of valid Welding Inspectors certifications.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement project-specific QA/QC procedures to ensure compliance with drawings, codes, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee and enforce compliance of all materials and workmanship with project documentation and contractual specs.
• Prepare and maintain all required QA/QC documentation as directed by the Project Management Team.
• Lead QA/QC inspections and monitoring activities to ensure compliance with standards.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, plans and technical specifications.
• Be familiar with material testing requirements, standards and procedures.
• Conduct internal quality inspections and support client and regulatory audits.
• Interpret and follow written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule instructions with attention to detail.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and address ad-hoc quality issues.
• Coordinate effectively across multidisciplinary teams and work independently or as part of a team.

1. 1.Plan and implement project-specific QA/QC procedures to ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, and regulatory standard.
2. 2. Oversee and enforce compliance of all materials and workmanship with approved project documentation, contractual specifications, and recognized industry quality standards.
3. 3. Prepare and maintain all required documentation as directed by the Project Management Team to ensure proper record-keeping and project compliance.
4. 4. Lead and oversee QA/QC inspections and monitoring activities to ensure allconstruction works and materials comply with contractual and regulatory standards.
5. 5.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
6. 6.Knowledge of material testing requirements, standards, and procedures.
7. 7.Conduct internal quality inspections and support external audits, including client and regulatory authority inspections.
8. 8.Ability to interpret and follow instructions in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form. Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical capabilities.
9. 9.Support continuous improvement initiatives and address ad-hoc quality-related issues as required to maintain project standards.
10. 10.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements:

1. 1.Degree/ Diploma in Engineering or related fields.
2. 2.Minimum of 2-3years of QA/QC experience in construction industry, preferably in steelworks.
3. 3.Knowledge in quality control documentation.
4. 4.Possess of valid Welding Inspectors certifications.
5. 5.Proficient in MS office application
6. 6.Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
7. 7.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
8. 8.Knowledge in ISO is an advantage.
