Job summary

Merck Gruppe - MSD Sharp & Dohme in Singapore is seeking an Associate Specialist for the Value Stream Laboratory. You will perform analytical testing of intermediates and finished drug substances, support method transfer, validation, and equipment qualification, and help drive quality improvements.

The role is a two-year fixed-term program under Workforce Singapore (WSG); Singaporeans/Singapore PRs preferred; open to mid-career entrants with relevant experience; includes opportunities to work on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related experience in manufacturing or testing in a 3rd party lab; HPLC background preferred.
• Leadership and ability to influence stakeholders at various levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on intermediates and finished drug substances per procedures.
• Participate in analytical method transfer/validation/verification, new product introduction and equipment qualification.
• Assist in laboratory investigations and implement corrective actions within the agreed timeframe.
• Provide inputs for development and revision of Analytical Standards, SOPs, Work Instructions and other GMP documents.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure inspection readiness.
• Execute quality and laboratory improvement initiatives and other special projects.
