Job summary

JMS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking a lab professional to conduct chemical analysis for product release, project and validation testing. You will ensure tests follow written procedures and act as trainer for new Lab staff.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, calibrations, inventory control, troubleshooting equipment, and verifying certificates of analysis for releases. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply. Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
• Good communication and writing skill.
• Required to work in cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct chemical analysis for product release, project and validation testing.
• Ensure tests are performed in accordance with written procedures.
• Appointed as a trainer for identified subject matter expert and train new Lab staff.
• Assess training effectiveness for Lab Junior Technicians/Technicians.
• Supervise junior technicians and troubleshoot equipment and investigate issues.
• Support lab consumables purchase, inventory and control expenditure.
• Assist in investigating chemical analysis failure investigations and calibration management.
• Verify tagging status and certificate of analysis for product release.
• Verify test results obtained by QA Lab staff.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns or malfunctions.
• Ensure chemical mixing is performed per written procedures.
• Support in-house Chemical Extraction test requests.
