Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manager Quality Control I (Analytical Testing) to oversee day-to-day analytical testing activities, ensuring quality and compliance across raw materials, in-process, release and stability testing. Qualifications

• Doctorate, Master’s, Bachelor’s or Diploma with relevant life sciences field and years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Quality Control Analytical Operations experience in GMP-regulated environments.
• Experience directly managing people and/or leading teams, projects, or resource allocation.
• Strong knowledge of GMP pharmaceutical production, plant operation and associated testing methods.
• Experience with GMP laboratory operations, data integrity and lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day analytical testing activities supporting materials, in-process, release and stability testing.
• Ensure schedules enable timely manufacturing and product release.
• Manage laboratory resources, staffing, workload, and capacity planning.
• Provide oversight for analytical methodologies and instrument qualification/maintenance.
• Maintain compliant lab facilities and systems (calibration, qualification) across sites.
