Job summary

Amgen in Singapore seeks a Manager Quality Control I (Analytical Testing) to oversee day-to-day analytical operations, including raw materials, in-process, release and stability testing across biologics and small molecules. You will lead a team of analysts, ensure data integrity, and maintain inspection readiness while ensuring cGMP compliance and timely product release.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with related experience (Quality Control)
• Bachelor’s with 4+ years GMP QC experience or Diploma with 8+ years experience
• Minimum 5 years of QC Analytical Operations in GMP/pharma
• Experience leading teams or projects and resource allocation
• Strong knowledge of GMP testing methods and lab operations
• Experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, KF, TOC, pH testing and related QC analytics
• Experience with biologics analytical techniques (ELISA, bioassays) and QC data systems

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day analytical testing activities (raw materials, in-process, release, stability)
• Ensure schedules meet manufacturing and release needs
• Manage resources, workload and capacity planning
• Provide oversight of analytical methods and equipment
• Maintain qualified, calibrated labs and ensure regulatory readiness
• Drive quality risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Support audits, inspections and lifecycle management of methods
