Job summary

Amgen seeks an Analytical Lead for the Contract Development & Manufacturing organization to drive external analytical strategy across development, clinical, and commercial programs. You will partner with CDMOs/CTLs, ensure alignment on scope and timelines, and lead method development, transfer, and validation.

The role requires robust experience in analytical development, QC, regulatory/compliance, and cross-functional collaboration within a global matrix.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytical development, QC, or external analytical oversight.
• Experience working with CDMOs, CTLs, or external labs.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Understanding of drug development lifecycle and cGMP.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical strategy and execution across development, clinical, and commercial programs.
• Serve as the primary contact for external analytical partners (CDMOs/CTLs).
• Drive analytical planning, method transfer, qualification, and validation.
• Ensure deliverables meet quality, timeline, and regulatory requirements.
• Mitigate analytical risks affecting program execution and release.
