Job summary

Alcon is seeking an Associate, QC Labs- Analytical Science & Technology to establish robust lab systems supporting product lifecycles. You will ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement of QC workflows, acting as site SME for LTA lifecycle and equipment calibration.

You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain inspection readiness and deliver high-quality data, reports, and timely CAPA and change management.

Qualifications

• Experience qualifying, maintaining, and decommissioning lab equipment.
• 1–3 years in pharma/medical device with GMP knowledge.
• Understanding of QC lab workflows and regulatory requirements.
• Experience leading projects.
• Experience with method validation or transfer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• SME for laboratory testing asset lifecycle and related activities.
• Develop protocols and qualification for lab assets; report within timelines.
• Determine calibration approaches; ensure equipment functions correctly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with vendors and stakeholders.
• Lead small to medium projects in AS&T.
• Review external standards/regulatory requirements for QC activities.
• Site point of contact for global lab initiatives.
• Provide training and coaching on procedures and systems.
• Improve QC workflows and efficiency.
