Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Local OU Quality & Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive business process excellence and operational effectiveness across our local unit.

You will partner with leaders to identify opportunities, lead transformation projects, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement. The role involves leading CI initiatives, process optimization, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration, with emphasis on HSE integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5-8 years of experience in Quality Management, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, or related roles.
• Experience in power, energy, electrification, grid infrastructure, manufacturing, EPC or similar environments.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with data gathering, analysis, and performance measurement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen events.
• Drive selection, planning, execution, and benefits realization of CI projects.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with local management and stakeholders on improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis, and problem-solving workshops.
• Monitor project performance and report progress and benefits.
