Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Singapore seeks a Local OU Quality & Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive process excellence and CI initiatives across the local unit.

You will partner with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities, lead transformation projects, and foster a culture of quality and operational excellence. Strong data skills and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5–8 years of experience in Quality Management, CI, or Operational Excellence.
• Experience in power/energy/electrical environments and related industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma, 5S, and quality tools familiarities.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) projects and Kaizen events.
• Plan, execute, and sustain CI initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Partner with local management and stakeholders to address challenges.
• Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis, and problem-solving workshops.
• Monitor project benefits and provide regular progress updates.
