Job summary

VSMNE RESOURCES PTE. LTD. is seeking a junior Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, tender submissions and cost control for construction and M&E projects in Singapore.

You will assist with BOQ preparation, measurements, procurement and cost tracking while coordinating with project teams. Reading drawings and basic Excel/Word skills are essential, with willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of construction and M&E works is an advantage.
• Able to read construction drawings.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing quotations, cost estimates and tender submissions.
• Assist with quantity take-off and measurement of construction / M&E works.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost breakdowns.
• Assist with progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Monitor project costs and maintain proper cost records.
• Assist in checking subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Prepare comparison sheets for materials and subcontractor quotations.
• Assist with procurement and material cost tracking.
• Attend site meetings and site inspections when required.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain proper documentation for contracts, claims and variations.
• Perform other QS / commercial duties assigned by the Senior QS or Management.
